Position: Equipment Sales Manager
Equity for Tanzania Ltd (EFTA) is an award-winning equipment finance company dedicated to helping small entrepreneurs and farmers to grow.

Working in conjunction with the Senior Operations Manager and the COO, you will lead the company’s effort to liquidate equipment assets against aggressive monthly targets. This equipment includes but is not limited to tractors, buses, commercial trucks, bakery equipment, medical equipment, harvesters, and agri-processing equipment.

Job Description
  • Present, promote and sell products
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Leverage existing, and further develop, our network of contacts
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on progress and on customer needs, issues, interests, and potential for additional products and services
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Candidate Specification
  • Technical or industrial sales experience or automotive (used or new) sales experience, especially commercial experience
  • Disciplined work ethic with the desire for personal and professional advancement, Results-driven and results-focused, Team player
  • Fluent in written and verbal English and Kiswahili
  • Organized with strong sense of priority and commitment to deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including telephone manner and persuasiveness)
  • Valid driver’s license
