ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks highly qualified candidates to serve as a Human Resources for Health (HRH) Lead – Tanzania. The incumbent will provide strategic leadership, guidance, and expertise for technical support to all HRH-related activities.
ICAP seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates to fill the HRH Lead position by March 2020. The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in public health, human resources, education, or a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in public health program implementation, instructional design, training, and mentorship design and implementation.
The incumbent will have a demonstrated track record performing HR need assessments, developing and reviewing various HRH strategic plans, and facilitate capacity building sessions. The incumbent will also have experience with governmental recruitment and deployment processes and knowledge of various HRH tools. Written and spoken English proficiency is a necessity.

The position is contingent upon availability of grant funding.
