Job description
The job holder will provide warden services to an organization by providing students guidance and counselling services, coordinating student’s cultural, recreational and
student’s sport activities, proper allocation of students in hostel as well as providing
welfares to ESIS students.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist the Dean of students in student’s counselling and guidance in one’s
respective Hall of Residence
• Coordinates academic advice for students in his/her respective Hall of Residence in collaboration with academic advisors
• Coordinate student’s cultural, recreational and sports activities in his/her Hall of
Residence
• Serves as an advisor to student’s government at the Hall of Residence level and
attends meetings of the Health Committee and the Hall Assembly
• Ensures proper allocation of students in hostels and availability of necessary amenities and security of students
• Issues permits to students who may experience emergencies that need absences from the campus for some days
• Takes care of students’ welfare and ensures that the sicks are urgently treated
and taken care of satisfactorily
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by one’s reporting officer.
Qualifications
Diploma or bachelor degree in Education with a bias in education Psychology or diploma/degree in Social Welfare or Community development.
