The Ministry of Health is a government ministry of Tanzania. Its central offices are located in Dodoma. It was merged with the Ministry , Community Development, Gender, Elders and Children under John Magufuli’s reforms.

The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the MOH in collaboration with the Global Fund to fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria is implementing the Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health Program with the goal to achieve Universal Health Coverage and reaching targets for health related Sustainable Development Goals.

Vision To have a healthy society with improved social well being that will contribute effectively to individual and national development.
