ZANZIBAR LAW SOCIETY is a non-profit organization registered by the Register of Society as per the Societies Act No 6 of 1995 with registration number 89 in the year 1999.
The organization shall be recognized as a strong forward thinking organization-providing leadership in defining, through words and deeds, the role of law and lawyers in society.
It shall have a growing number of members who play an increasingly important role in the delivery of legal and public services.
The organization provides information to the public; Handling complains between advocates and the public; and legal assistance & representation to indigent and vulnerable people free of charge.
We are at the forefront of promoting the legal profession practice standards in Zanzibar. We do this by providing a wide bouquet of membership professional and capacity building services.
