BRAND MANAGER (PAINTS)
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Brand Manager, a professional who is responsible for ensuring that their company's products, services, and product lines resonate with current or potential customers. In addition, they monitor marketing trends as well as keep an eye on competitive companies in the marketplace so they can stay ahead of competition.
A highly efficient, innovative and enthusiastic Brand Manager with extensive experience of supporting sales departments by researching, reviewing and developing their overall marketing strategy, projecting, planning and achieving sales target.
Duties and Responsibilities of Brand Manager;
- Expert in the areas of Planning, coordination, monitoring and strategizing of all branding
initiatives and responsible for all these activities for Tanzania and Kenya Business
respectively by following brand guidelines. - Having vast experience in the field of Branding is responsible for devising the annual
Branding calendar (ATL television, radio, digital media & print and BTL-region wise
activation, visual merchandising, exhibitions, corporate events, dealer meets, and other
BTL activities) aligned to the strategic business and marketing objectives of the
organizations and its financial planning. Also, evaluate all branding activities. - In depth knowledge of utilizing consumer insights to develop brand
positioning/architecture that would build a connect with the target audience and also
conducting market research by analyzing brand positioning and consumer insights.
Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, competitors activities and Monitor
product distribution and consumer reaction, feedback and testimonials in written,
recorded. - Also, responsible to demonstrate creative judgment that creates effective advertising
and to communicate the core message, drive brand equity/ imagery and impacting sales
performance. - To manage MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) function and responsible
for planning and conducting all dealer network engagement / incentive tours
(international and domestic), R&R programs and events. Also run employee recognition
events to keep team motivated. Propose and organize team-building events from time
to time. - To identify, negotiate with due approvals, onboard and managing overall scope,
direction and terms of the Agencies and all other vendor relationships (assignment to
appropriate projects, defining roles, responsibilities and deliverables). Examples: Media
Agency, Solution Partner, Printers, Vendors for sourcing of promotional material for
Sales Team. - Will be responsible for leading digital strategy for the Brand by creating engagement platforms on social media channels and measure organic page impressions, likes and increase the reach. Attending to leads, enquiries, ensure timely and effective response to thereof.
- Responsible for Identifying the key constituents (e.g. channel partners, marketing team, technical department, advertising agency, research agency, event managers etc.) needed for success and establishing strong working relationships that will gain their alignment and support to ensure brand strategy, plans and programs will be executed properly to drive growth.
- Receiving, controlling, analyzing data pertaining to Lucky Coupons, inserted into bags and its MIS/Reporting in prescribed format on regular intervals.
- Assisting technical team with new packaging designing, marketing testing and launching
- Articulating, scripting for product, event promotion, brand video shoots, such as testimonials, product attributes, application video and interactive discussions with channel partners.
- Actively involved in initiating CSR programs and its implementations.
- Manage all promotional items (receiving, keeping records, distribution)
- Manage and coordinate with team of sales & marketing people working on brand initiatives and requirements
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements,
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 12-15 years of experience in branding profile, brand marketing and
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Strong communication skills – English & Swahili
- Tech & social media management skills and Data-driven approach
- Relentless customer focus and go-getter, self-motivated
- High degree of attention to details
Budget: 4,000,000 Net Pay.
