JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Piping/Mechanical Engineer (1 Post)
Job Brief
Supervision of the day-to-day construction activities of the CONTRACTOR. He/She will ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and specifications. To make daily reports detailing activities and progress.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Must possess construction experience in onshore pipeline installation projects
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience required in Oil & Gas Pipeline construction projects
- 10 years in similar position on pipeline projects
- Must possess construction experience in onshore pipeline installation projects
Position: CAD Designer (1 Post)
Job Brief
The CAD Designer will be responsible for assisting the construction team to interpret the Approved for Construction design and to respond to formal construction queries.
In-Country based Engineer with expertise in the Engineering of Oil transmission systems, pumping stations, storage / terminal facilities.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- University Degree, or equivalent, in related subject or equivalent trade qualification combined with further relevant training and experience.
- Experience within a Field Engineering role in the same or similar environment.
- Those with degree typically have 5+ years relevant experience.
- Those with trade qualifications will typically have 10+ years relevant experience.
Position: Transport Advisor (1 Post)
Job Brief
This position directs the transportation safety management process and provides overall support and guidance to the regional, area and local transportation operations organizations.
Be responsible for the oversight and assurance to implementation and maintenance of the Project H3SE Management Program.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Diploma / Tertiary qualification with 5 years’ experience within logistics and transportation in an associated construction, manufacturing, or large fleet company.
- Two(2)years safety management experience in a similarfield preferred but not essential.
Job Brief
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all Logistics interface between EACOP – EPcmC Logistics /Supply Chain / all Construction Contractors / Main Logistics Contractors on site along the ROW. The job will require the incumbent to move to the various construction sites along the Feeder / Main Pipeline route in Tanzania as the construction schedule dictates.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Diploma or degree qualification with 5 years’ experience within project traffic and logistics on site experience
- Must have a practical knowledge of the dispatch of vehicles including paperwork, routing, restraint, and dangerous goods. Dangerous goods qualification desirable.
- Must have experience of Logistic Management and Field related work with specific experience in Logistic project work.
Position: Pipeline Engineer (1 Post)
Job Brief

Position: Construction Quality Control (QC) Advisor – Coating: (1 Post)
Job Brief
The Construction QC Advisor will report functionally to the Construction QC supervisor and on a day-to-day basis to the nominated Delivery Manager.
Qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ practical experience in surveillance of Welding / Non- Destructive Evaluation(NDE)
- Coating Advisors shall be certified to the equivalent of BGAS/CSWIP Grade II, NACE Level II or SSPC and ICORR Level II as a minimum.
Position: Quality Advisor (Civil, Structural Steel) – (4 Posts)
Job Brief
The QC Advisor (Civil, Structural Steel) is responsible for supervising the day-to-day construction activities of the EPcmC staff & CONTRACTORS. They will ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with the project codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification combined with extensive field experience or other agreed applicable discipline qualifications that support the execution of civil and structural steel works for the onshore Pipeline and related Above Ground Installations (AGI), Marine Storage Terminal (MST) facilities and Electrical, Instrument and Telecommunications (EITS) infrastructure works scopes
- A minimum of 5 years’ greenfield site civil and structural steel construction experience.
Job Brief
The Measurement Engineer is responsible for supporting the project controls department to ensure the correct processes are employed across the project to facilitate cost control, quantities, timelines, reporting and verification.
The role will be required to participate & provide input to schedules, budgets, and quantity assessment reports. Facilitate and participate within quantity studies, reviews, and audits across the project.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Minimum of five 5 Years of Tertiary or Professional experience within an oil and gas construction project, preferably with 2 years’ pipeline experience.
- Strong understanding and progressing ability for all construction disciplines including but not limited to civil, structural, piping, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, coatings, heat tracing, insulation, and fireproofing.
- Experience in analyzing data to report accurate KPI’s and potential non-compliance status back to the project management team
Job Brief
The IT Level 1 – Support reports to the IT Services Coordinator, providing support of all activities associated with the 24×7 Help Desk, customer computing platforms, remote site computing services and audio/visual systems support.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Graduate with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Have strong skills with PC hardware, Windows OS, MS Office 2010 or newer, and be able to operate in a networked environment.
- Experience in reviewing IT & SLA metrics to create accurate reporting KPI’s to verify network reliability
- Competency within industry applications such as SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office Suite.
