LOCATION: KARATU -ARUSHA.
POSITION: GARDEN SUPERVISOR (1 POST).
REPORTING TO: OPERATION MANAGER.
Duties & Responsibilities.
1. Supervise all staff who are operates in Garden.
2. Attending in Morning briefing every day.
3. Advise management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports.
4. Maintain and grow the garden to ensure it meets specific requirements and expectations.
5. Participate performing basic maintenance such as cutting the grass, emptying bins.
6. Plant flowers and various plants.
7. Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such cutting machine.
8. Maintain a clean garden by clearing rubbish and litter from the garden and grounds.
9. Provide guidance to management on matters related to the garden.
10. Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients.
Education and Qualification.
• Must have leadership skills.
• A certification in a horticulture or landscaping would be preferred.
• Must be a worker who is able to perform routine tasks without
supervision.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Understanding of horticulture methods and materials, landscaping, and
tree and woody plant cultivation.
• Capability to conduct grounds-keeping duties.
• Fertilizer and/or pesticide application knowledge.
• Lifting and manipulating heavy objects.
