JOB TITLE: ESL & Typing Teacher

What you’ll do
- Plan, prepared and deliver engaging ESL and typing lessons catering to students’ diverse needs.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their language and typing proficiency goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and educational standards.

- At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL and typing/computer skills to students of various age groups and proficiency levels.

JOB TITLE: Assistant Team Lead – Transport
Who are you
- A leader of large group of drivers
- Keen in ensuring the processes and procedures are available and well adhered to
- Passionate in seeing a well taken care of fleet (clean, well repaired, always available & dependable)
- You go to sleep at night dreaming about continuous improvements on your role
What you’ll do
- Be accountable for the people, fleet, vehicle workshop, and daily operations of the transport team
- Ensure all the students & staff buses arrive on time daily and any incidents are resolve promptly
- Work with all Head Office & Academic teams to organise their transport needs
- Ensure the fuel consumption is as per the KPIs
- Plan for students & staff routes ensuring their safety is prioritised always
What we’re looking for
- Minimum a Diploma in Logistics, transport related fields. A degree is advantageous.
- Experience of not less than 3 years in leadership role managing a Fleet of more than 30 cars
- Must be computer literate (Ms Office), have knowledge or worked on fleet management softwares, vehicle tracking softwares and competent in written & spoken English & Swahili languages.
- Work ethics: Punctual, detailed, able to self-manage, positively take constructive feedback, great at team work and have a spirit of volunteership and care for children

What you’ll do
- To provide support to the Facilities Manager by assisting in the review of, maintenance of and forward planning for the Maintenance, Transport and Security teams.
- You will also be working closely with the Academic and Head office teams and all other St Jude’s teams.
- The role involves data processing to manage energy consumption & efficiency, fuel consumption, vehicle services and using the results for informed decision making.
- You will participate in the development, implementation and continuous improvement to annual preventive maintenance schedules for buildings, equipment and landscapes
- You will develop, implement and continuously improve Facilities standard operating procedures.
What we’re looking for
- A Bachelor degree in Facilities/Property Management from TCU accredited university
- Relevant experience of at least 3 year working in a Facilities role in a large Facility
- Strong communication skills (English and Swahili)
- Strong inter-personal skills to work in collaboration with other departments
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to frequently travel between School’s three campuses within Arusha to ensure progress of work
- Have a hobby (sport or club) that you can share with students for a holistic education
