RECRUITMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MILITARY JWTZ
- The Tanzania People’s Defence Force (TPDF) announces recruitment opportunities for young Tanzanians with education at the fourth and sixth form levels. Additionally, the recruitment will involve youths in the National Service camps under ‘Operation General Venance Mabeyo’ and those who have completed their contracts after undergoing JKT training under the Law and voluntary contracts.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS (CURRENT JKT MEMBERS AND JKT CONTRACT GRADUATES)
- Youths aspiring to be enlisted in the Military must have the following qualifications: a. Must be a Tanzanian citizen. b. Must be under 25 years of age. c. Must be in good health and sound mind. d. Must have good behavior and discipline, with no criminal convictions in court. e. Must have an original birth certificate. f. Must have school certificates. g. Must not have served in the Police Force, Prisons, Training Institute, or Special Anti-Smuggling Unit. h. Must have completed National Service training under a two-year voluntary contract or under the Law and have been awarded a certificate.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
- The application procedure is as follows: a. For youths currently in JKT camps under ‘Operation General Venance Mabeyo,’ their procedures are coordinated by the Military Headquarters. b. For youths outside the JKT camps, their handwritten applications should be submitted to the Military Headquarters in Dodoma from August 1, 2024, to August 14, 2024, with the following attachments: (1) A copy of the National ID or NIDA number. (2) A copy of the birth certificate. (3) Copies of school certificates. (4) A copy of the JKT certificate. (5) The applicant’s mobile phone number.
