Role Description:
As a Civil Engineer at LCH BUILDERS, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing comprehensive civil engineering designs and plans that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Overseeing all aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Providing on-site guidance and support to construction teams, ensuring efficient and accurate work execution.
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Tanzanian citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering design, planning, and buildings and roads projects management
- Strong technical skills in civil engineering principles and practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
- A passion for construction and a desire to contribute to LCH BUILDERS’ growth
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on civil construction projects in Tanzania e.g. roads, bridges e.t.c
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Project Management tools)
- Flexibility to work anywhere in Tanzania
