Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assign and monitor daily activities to the irrigation technical team.
- Assist the Assistant Irrigation Engineer in preparing irrigation and fertigation programs.
- Monitor automated controller screen for irrigation operations.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets and ensure targets are met.
- Oversee the maintenance program as per the schedule.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports and submit them.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Irrigation and Water Resource Engineering or any related field.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and proficiency in MS programs.
- Knowledge of soil, vegetation, and climate.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in the sugar industry.

POSITION: Assistant Irrigation Engineer (Two Vacancies)
Workplace: Bagamoyo

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare irrigation programs using available software for irrigation and fertigation, according to water requirements.
- Manage and supervise all irrigation activities in a designated zone.
- Coordinate with managers and service providers on programs and ensure implementation.
- Prepare monthly and annual budgets for effective irrigation operation.
- Oversee installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc in Irrigation and Water Resource Engineering, BSc in Agricultural Engineering, or BEng in Civil and Irrigation Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS programs.
- At least two years of experience in irrigation system installation.
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in the sugar industry.
