SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER (TAXATION AND STATUTORY COMPLIANCE)

JOB LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM

Position responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, including filing and paying taxes, levies, and other statutory obligations. Additionally, the role involves representing the Company in all tax-related affairs and implementing adequate financial controls.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or business related field.

• CPA or ACCA holder

• At least five years of work experience.

• Practical experience in tax administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle all tax-related matters–Ensure the Company complies with tax laws and regulations. Liaise with tax authorities and external tax consultants and coordinate tax audits.

• Ensure various TRA returns, such as VAT and payroll, are reconciled and verified monthly.

• Ensure accurate and timely filing and payment of premium levy, city service levy, and all other applicable levies.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and Year-end reports (Specific reports to be allocated).

• Compile/Reconcile allocated schedules supporting the balance sheet reconciliation.
