Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our range of fertilizers to meet the needs of farmers and distributors. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of agricultural practices and excellent sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers, including farmers, distributors, and agricultural businesses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Promote and explain the benefits of our fertilizer products to potential customers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territories or markets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer input.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, agricultural fairs, and other events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or fertilizer industry.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and fertilizer usage is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Are you a finance enthusiast with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? NovFeed, a biotech company in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual reports, coordinating the monthly closing process, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with external auditors for smooth audit processes.
- Coordinate the preparation and review of bank reconciliations.
- Create Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for accounting staff and evaluate the team’s performance.
- Develop and implement new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the unit.
- Manage tax administration, ensuring proper handling of all tax obligations (VAT, Withholding taxes, Income Tax, PAYE/SDL, Stamp Duty, City Service Levy).
- Monitor adherence to the company’s accounting procedures.
- Monitor the accounting service, working to develop more efficient procedures and resource utilization while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Perform any other duties assigned by your line manager within your scope of work.
- Prepare a monthly accrual table and reconcile accruals posted with invoices received.
- Supervise the monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, TALA, SAP, Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse financial data and generate accurate reports.
- 3+ years of work experience
