Role Summary:
Join our team as Director of Sales & Marketing for Legendary
Expeditions, based in Arusha, Tanzania. For this important role, we are
looking for a skilled storyteller who is inspired by the challenge of
bringing the extraordinary experiences of our Camps and Lodges to life,
in sales and marketing efforts targeted to the luxury traveler.
Core Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for this position are:
• Implement global sales, distribution, digital marketing, e-commerce,
social media and PR programs to promote the growing collection of Camps
and Lodges.
• Collaborate with Operations colleagues to create and promote memorable experiences.
• Lead the sales team and work with Legendary DMC and reservations team
to sell experiences to travel agents and luxury consumers.
• Advise on trends within the luxury safari market and our recommended
response in order to drive the company’s broader strategic growth.
• Interact with guests to receive feedback, thus being a salesperson, researcher and problem solver to add benefit to the team.
Required Qualifications:
• Deep familiarity and experience representing luxury safari camps and lodges in Africa is mandatory
• A minimum of 10 years international luxury hospitality brand sales and marketing experience.
