Position: Change and Configuration Supervisor - ( Tanzania )
JOB PURPOSE
Ensure that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all network related changes (covering access, transmission core network, IT and IN/VAS), in order to minimize the impact of change related incidents upon service quality and consequently to improve the day-to-day operations of the organization

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
•The Configuration, Change & Release supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all Requests for Change (RFC)
•Establishment and running of a Change Advisor Board (CAB)
•Liaison with the all stakeholder discipline to ensure that any change to the infrastructure are brought under Change Management Control
•Establish the Change Models to facilitate minor changes without recourse to the CAB
•Reporting on change activity
•The Configuration, Change & Release Manager will ensure standardize methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all Changes to Configuration Items (CI) through effective Release Management
•The overall goal being to minimize the impact of Change related Incident upon Service quality and consequently to improve the day to day operations Formulate long term strategic Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) for the areas of Configuration, Change and Release Management, developing business cases where necessary to improve services, reduce costs, ensure business continuity, etc.
•Undertake detailed analysis of complex service, covering a broad range of technologies, to ensure that proposed change are safe and fit for purpose, including comprehensive analysis of risk, business continuity, impact and resource requirements.
•Coordinate services, implement and monitor Release plans, including producing detailed timetables of events and documenting action plans by individual sites
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
•Telecommunication or related engineering experiences (Mobile advantageous)•Preferably eTOM or ITIL Certified
•4-5 Years’ experience in a similar role
•Project Management Foundation level qualified or ability to obtain qualification
•Demonstrable experience of management responsibilities e.g. staff, financial and delivery performance
•Demonstrated ability to interpret data to provide management recommendations
•Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (spoken and written)
•Analytical and Critical thinker
•Proven Leadership ability (lead, mentor, train)
•Fluent in English
