Job Title: Technical Assistance Consultants
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the CCM Eligibility and Performance Assessment in person or remotely and ensure that CCMs comply with eligibility requirements and minimum standards
- Ensure that members of the CCM understand their roles and responsibilities related to governance and oversight; develop corrective action plans detailing roles, responsibilities, and timelines to enhance CCM and Global Fund Secretariat members’ capacity to perform their functions
- Identify representation and engagement challenges of civil society organizations, key populations, and people living with diseases in CCM and other Global Fund decision-making
- Develop work plans with key milestones and budget proposals with support from civil society organizations, key populations, and people living with diseases
- Ensure that new CCM members complete e-learning modules and facilitate an in-person orientation for CCM members
- Meet with the PR and CCM to determine the technical prerequisites to install and configure the Principal Recipient Dashboard software for data collection
- Train and coach the PR and CCM on data entry and dashboard analysis for decision-making
Qualifications:
- Degree in public health, business administration, social sciences, international relations, management, nonprofit administration, or other relevant disciplines if combined with relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and experience of CCM technical assistance and governance-related issues and the Global Fund grant architecture and management process
- Expertise in Global Fund Eligibility and Performance Assessment methodology
- Experience facilitating training events focused on capacity building and knowledge transfer
- Expertise in consulting to multistakeholder bodies on CSO engagement, oversight, management, capacity development, and/or rights advocacy for key populations and people living with diseases
- Demonstrated experience providing successful short- and medium-term technical assistance
- Consultants must travel to and work in the country requiring technical support
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Russian
