The Authority has mandate to provide water supply and sewerage disposal services in Dodoma City and Clustered towns of Bahi, Chamwino and Kongwa.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic, experienced and performance driven Tanzania male and female, to fill in the following excellent carrier opportunities below:
Position: PLUMBER II (5 POSTS)
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Holder of Form IV with Trade Test ll/l in Plumbing/ Pipe fitter or equivalent qualification with three years work experience in plumbing works.
- Reports all water leakage as assigned.
- Reports water loss, distribution faults and recommend necessary action.
- Connects water supply to customers as scheduled
- Reports unauthorized water connections and maintains records of water theft incidences and witness such incidences in court whenever needed.
- Carries out water disconnections of debtors and reconnections after payment
- Disconnects water from customers who are indebted to DUWASA and have not paid their bills on time.
- Performs any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Terms Of Employment For The Posts:
Unspecified Period of Time (Permanent and Pensionable).
Age Limit For The Applicants:
Applicants should not be above 45 years of age.
Remunerations:
The posts carry attractive remunerations package.
Working Stations:
DUWASA main office, Chamwino, Kongwa or Bahi stations.
