POSITION: Lodge Clinician

KEY OUTPUTS:
- Diagnosing and treating common illness with staff and guests
- Preparing budget for dispensary services
- Providing preventive and curative services for staff and guests
- Providing primary health care services
- Educating the community on health issues
- Organising positive health educational and fun days for staff
- Ordering and safe-keeping of medicine and first aid equipment
- Participating in ensuring cleanliness of the staff living premises
- In charge of dispensary at the lodge
- Referring patients to district, regional and referral hospitals, as may be required; and
- Performing other relevant duties as may be assigned by the lodge manager
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Must hold a minimum of a Higher Diploma in Clinical Medicine
- Other qualifications and training an advantage
- Computer literate – Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook essential
- Spoken and written English

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- At least four years as a Clinical Officer
