POSITION: Country Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

   • Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Insurance Brokerage Firm.

   • To build capacity of work force in the areas of Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Solution Management and Project Management.

   • Provide leadership to the organization in strategizing, planning and expanding operations in the country.

   • Ensure safe and efficient operations and serve as a company representative on regulatory issues as far as the insurance field is concerned.

   • To plan and supervise all the operational functions of the insurance brokerage firm.

   • Manages the growth and success of the team that he/she is leading as Head.

   • Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.

   • To be responsible for the production, procurement, and planning of daily operations within Imperium Insurance Brokers.

   • To communicate with all relevant employees to ensure tasks and prompt delivery of assignment is done to all assignee under the firm.

   • To plan, schedule, and review workload and manpower to make sure that targets are being met on a cost-effective basis within Imperium Insurance Brokers.

   • To ensures the production/Marketing and Sales team has enough time sale and deliver policies based on the client's request.

   • To create a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines within the firm.

   • To communicate any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties who are in contract of service with the insurance firm.

   • To monitor Imperium Insurance Brokers standards are intact and met at all times.

   • To be in charge of the brokerage firm in relation to administration, operations, marketing and talent acquisition.

   • To assign duties and responsibility to junior staff and any member of staff operating and working in the insurance brokerage firm.

   • To oversee and being in charge of the firm members of staff in terms of attendance, work assessment and report compilation before submitting the same to the General Manager (GM) every calendar month end.

   • To be responsible and conscious with any work method or mode implementation which shall ensure cost cutting and or unnecessary expenses.

   • To oversee the company target set and ensure it to be successfully achieved on the time specimen set.

   • To advice the Management on the proper talent acquisition needs on behalf of the firm when the need arises for the same.

   • To be creative in bring improvement strategies from time to time in the firm.

   • To ensure in submitting the client database and updating the same accordingly whenever obtaining a new client.

   • To take action to members of staff in the firm will lose clients due to recklessness.

   • To maintain the insurance brokerage firm clientele relationship at all times.

   • To chair the firm’s weekly meetings (Monday & Friday)

The Weekly Meeting Agendas

   1. Target status and Updates if any.

   2. Clientele Feedback from the services rendered and or claim lodged.

   3. General Discipline (Attendance, Compliance, Reporting and Others)

   4. Debt Collection and Follow ups


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a degree holder in insurance or degree holder with a certificate in insurance
  • More than 6 years Business experience within Insurance Industry
