Position: Consultant – Social Enterprise & Business Development
Consultant Job Purpose
Provides guidance in developing strategies to responds to tne need or being an independent organization by establishing appropriate social enterpnses whlcn will generate income to facilitate tne organization activities.
Consultant Job Duties
- To support TDSF to develop a vision and strategic aims for the
- To support TDSF to develop a social enterprise business plan.
- To support TDSF to wnte tne business plan/ ngo 5-year piarv relevant organizational policies (child and adult safeguarding policy and inclusion &diversity policy as a minimum).
Consultant Skills and Qualifications – person specification.
- Prior knowledge and experience of working to support development projects preferably witn NGO’S.
- Expertise in business development
- Proven experience conducting market research and developing social enterprise projects
- Proven experience designing community-led projects
- Proven experience of delivering training at an organizational and community level.
- Experience witn strategic planning and development process (developing a long term vision and strategic aims and outcomes)
- Country (Tanzania) or context-relevant experience Robust safeguarding and Child Protection protocols
- Knowledge of NGO governance and policy
- Knowledge of IT and financial systems relating to microfinance organizations k. Excellent Englisn writing and presentation skins.
