Position: IS Officer - Enterprise Systems Support

Reporting to: Manager - Communications & Infrastructure
Responsible for: N/A
Region: Dar es Salaam

Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm , Monday to Friday . Additional hours as required by workload.

1.  JOB PURPOSE:
To Provide consistent and repeatable services through common processes and Procedures;
Analyze Problems and identify the root cause through coordination of internal and external support resources including the investigation of online knowledge bases and creating test environments to replicate any fault.

2. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Effectively, professionally and respectfully represents other information Technology staff members, teams,and their services to the end user community.
- Provide support for all information Technology products and services.
-Determines the most effective manner to resolve client's technical issue.
-Resolve Help-desk issues as per agreed SLAs and OLAs.
-Participate in budgeting and monitor expenditure in line with the set budget.

3. QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree ( or equivalent) in IT/ MIS
- Minimum two years working experience in Data Centre Systems.
- Demonstrable competency to manage relationships with key stakeholders and a strong customer service focus.
- Proven ability to adapt to a changing working environment with a flexible approach to working.

4. SKILLS:
- High skills in Microsoft applications including AD, MS Exchange, SCCM, Azure, etc.
-A knowledge of HPE Servers. Foundational HPE product Certification will add to advantage.
-A strong command in NetApp Storage , NetApp Certified Support Engineer Certification will add to the advantage.
-Knowledgeable in VMWare. A certificate in Associate VMware Data Centre Virtualization is an advantage.
-Basic Knowledge in networking
