The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS), is an Agency under the Ministry of Works and Transport which is responsible for Development and Maintenance of the Trunk and Regional Roads Network in Tanzania Mainland.
Apart from this, it is also responsible in conducting Axle Load Control Operations and Airport Construction. Our Vision is To have sustainable, safe and environmentally friendly all weather Trunk and Regional road network to support the social economic development of Tanzania.
Our Mission is To develop, maintain and manage the Trunk and Regional Roads Network efficiently and in a cost effective, safe and environmentally sustainable manner consistent with the Poverty Reduction Strategy and other Government policies through a competent and well motivated work force.
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) for and on behalf of the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania entered into a Contract for the Consultancy services, design review and supervision of upgrading of Matai – Kasesya (50km) Road to Bitumen standard; Lot 1: Matai- Tatanda Section (25km).
The duration of Construction Supervision and Defects Liability Period is 15 and 12 calendar months respectively.
