TCDC.022.0001.2018 and having a licence from Bank of Tanzania and TCDC with MSP3 -TCDC/2021/00230, TANESCO SACCOS having its registered office in Dar es salaam, at Ubungo Business Park, Shekilango along Morogoro road, whose address is P.o. Box 54231 Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
TANESCO SACCOS is a society that aims at eradicating poverty amongst its members. The prime objective of the society is to deliver quality services and products.
The association started in 1968 and up to 2004 grew to 315 members with a total membership of about Tsh. 533 million.
In 2004 major leadership reforms were made to improve the party, and its success grew as the party managed to increase its membership to 2906 members and savings to about 6 billion in July 2009.
Monthly revenue increased from 25 million in 2004 and up to 630 million, May 2010.
