Pediatrician
Job Details
Position: Pediatrician
Organization: CNC Polyclinic Limited
Location: Yombo Vituka, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Contract: Part Time or Full Time

Core Responsibilities:

– Diagnosing, monitoring and treating children who are injured, ill or living with disabilities
– Performing comprehensive examinations on newborns and children to identify abnormalities and checking for normal growth and development
– Discussing diagnosis and treatment plans with parents and children
– Advising patients and their family members on medication use, nutrition and preventive measures
– Creating patients’ medical reports to support other healthcare professionals
– Liaising daily with staff including medical, non-medical management staff and other healthcare professionals

Skills & Qualifications:

– Master’s degree (from a reputable University) in the specialized field
– Registered as a Practitioner by the Medical Council of Tanganyika
– Knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative methods and principles
– Exceptional understanding of various diseases that affect babies and children
– Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
– Attention to detail and excellent active listening skills
– Empathy and interpersonal skills

Gynecologist
Job Details
Position: Gynaecologist

Location: Yombo Vituka, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania
Contract: Part Time
Start Date: ASAP

Core Responsibilities:

– Performing comprehensive examinations to patients in-order to identify abnormalities
– Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients
– Collect, record and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
– Monitor patients over the course of pregnancies
– Treat infections of the cervix, ovaries and fallopian tubes
– Identify cancerous growths within the reproductive system
– Provide post-natal care to new mothers
– Liaising daily with staff including medical, non-medical management staff and other healthcare professionals

Skills & Qualifications:

– Master’s degree (from a reputable University) in the specialized field
– Registered as a Practitioner by the Medical Council of Tanganyika
– Knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitative methods and principles
– Ability to discuss sensitive information with patients and families
– Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
– Attention to detail and excellent active listening skills
– Empathy and interpersonal skills
