Position:
OFFICECASHIER

ON AFRICA CONSTRUCTION We  are looking for a competent OFFICE CASHIER to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations aiming for maximum efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma of Business Administration, Accounting, Procurement and Logistics, Supply chain Management, or relevant field.

Minimum 3 years working experience as a cashier is an added advantage.

Experience in customer service will be appreciated.

Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of SAP software.

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.

Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience working in Construction and Logistics is an added advantage.

Processing and accepting payments in cash, credit card, debit card or other form of payment.
& Operating a cash register or computer system.
Balancing the cash register and keeping accurate records of transactions.

Processing returns and exchanges.

Keep logs and records of all project stock, executed orders etc.
Honoring Receipts and requesting price checks when needed.
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual
satisfaction.
Planning and tracking the construction material to the final decision in a cost-effective manner.
Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
Keeping records of item codes for purchased goods.

Managing and monitoring office Petty cash and keeping accounts.
Creating and Managing Payment Vouchers and Purchasing Orders.

 

Position: QUANTITY SURVEYOR 

We are looking for a competent QUANTITY SURVEYOR to oversee ,examine ,review and assessing  construction plans  and  preparing quantity requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or Related field.

Minimum 3 years working experience as a QS.

Experience in Tendering and bidding is highly encouraged.

Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements.

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of Microsoft project software is an added advantage.

Outstanding organizational and coordination and Site supervision abilities.

Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Examining and reviewing or assessing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements on time.
Liaising and working collaboratively with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Gathering and preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary and relevant documents and forwarding them to the appropriate management or personnel on time and on period as directed.

(Project progress reports, Daily construction reports and other reports as directed.)

Building and maintaining healthy and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Handling the payment of workers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Creating action plan and flow of work showing the materials needed, work coverage and manpower needed.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required from reliable suppliers of good quality and reasonable prices.
Preparing tender documents and bid on behalf of the company and make follow up until completion of the project.

 

 

Position: LOGISTICSAND  TRACKING COORDINATOR

ON AFRICA CONSTRUCTION  We are looking for a competent Logisticsand Tracking Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations aiming for maximum efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree of Diploma of Procurement and Supply, Accounting,  Transport and Logistics,
Business Administration, Supply chain Management or any relevant Field 
Experience in customer service will be appreciated.

Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO

Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software.

Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in Construction and Logistics is an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations

Ensure premises, assets, and communication
ways are used effectively
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers and Operators) according to availabilities and requirements.
& Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
& Communicate with suppliers, retailers,
customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and
mutual satisfaction.
Plan and track the construction material to the final decision in a cost-effective manner.

Keep logs and records of all project stock, executed orders etc.
& Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
& Tracking vehicle movements and GPRS records

Managing the vehicle tracking system and keeping updates of the vehicle locations.
