Arusha Corridor Springs Hotel Limited is looking for
a Food and Beverage Manager
MAIN DUTIES
A Food and Beverage Manager oversees and manages
all food and beverage operations in a hotel, including developing menus,
maintaining quality standards, overseeing staff training, monitoring inventory
and cost control, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and
ensuring customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Holder of Degree in
Catering and Hotel Management or Degree in Hospitality Management from a
recognized University
·
At least an experience
of five years (5) managing catering services in 3-5 five-star hotels
·
Proficiency in English
Language
·
Professional and polite.
·
Flexibility,
reliability, teamwork, as well as a positive and friendly attitude.
·
Good Communication
Skills
·
High personal hygiene
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
o Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with
departmental policies and standard service procedures.
o Supervise efficient upkeep of tools through
proper usage of equipment and devices.
o Analyze all guest requirements and prepare plans
resolve customer care related issues and satisfy guests.
o Prepare monthly report and maintain adherence to
departmental standards
o Monitor and ensure optimal cleanliness and
sanitation for restaurant and catering areas.
o Manage and administer supply of linen cloths and
uniforms to F&B staff members and monthly stock taking.
o Perform regular investigation on design and
provide all materials and devices to ensure enhancement of better services.
o Assist all room service staff members to work
properly and provide maximum facilities to guests to outlet.
o Monitor all phone calls to room service
department to ensure timely resolution for same.
o Facilitate procedures to take orders from
visitors in systematic way and ensure compliance to all regulations and
standards of department.
o Monitor Restaurant and bar set-up, maintenance
programs, check buffet and tea breaks process plus initiate plans to enhance
beauty of hotels.
o Monitor and ensure completion of orders,
administer all maintenance projects plus communicate with engineering staff for
all repairs.
o Overhaul and monitor archives plus check price
list of food and drinks inclusive and analyze on food and drinks menu.
o Inspect food and beverage product preparation
programs and maintain goodwill of company.
o Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies
and procedures
o And other duties assigned by the management
