Position: Lubricants Sales Representative

Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate to join our enthusiastic and energetic lubricants team in Tanzania. The candidate’s responsibilities will include to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration with the Tanzanian Lubricant market by effective selling of the company’s products and providing technical support to add value and enhance customer experience. To be successful in this role, you should have worked in the Tanzanian lubricant industry for at least 2-3 years.Responsibilities
- Develop, build, and manage a client base of corporate, and individual accounts.
- Oversee the sales process on each stage – from quoting to delivery to follow up
- Target new and existing accounts in Tanzania
- Prospect new clients via cold sales calls, direct email, and networking events.
- Follow up on generated leads, through research and promotional events.
- Investigate and troubleshot customer service issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Related or Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering
- Working experience 2 – 3 years
- Experience and familiarity in the lubricant market in Tanzania will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy – MS Office
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili. Other languages will be an added advantage.
- Prepared to travel when required.
- Interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Presentation / training skills/problem solving skill / product knowledge essential
- Ability to manage clients to ensure long term contractual arrangements
