1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared
in Tanzania Procurement Journal Issue no. dated July 1
2021
2. The Government of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Institute of Accountancy
Arusha during the financial year 2O21/22. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will
be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Supply of Supply of Classroom
Instructional and Institution Furniture (Supply and Fixing of Lecture Theater Chairs and Tables,
Staff Office Furniture and Fittings and Students Beds and Mattress
3. The Institute tender Board at its 111 ordinary meeting approved the procurement of Supply
of Classroom Instructional and Institution Furniture (Supply and Fixing of Lecture Theater
Chairs and Tables, Staff Office Furniture and Fittings and Students Beds and Mattress to
be procured through direct from Manufactures method under regulation 149A of PPR 2016
4. The Institute of Accountancy Arusha now invites sealed tenders Direct from Manufactures of
Supply of Classroom Instructional and Institution Furniture (Supply and Fixing of Lecture
Theater Chairs and Tables, Staff Office Furniture and Fittings and Students Beds and
Mattress
5. Tendering will be conducted through the direct procurement from manufactures procedures
specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended
in 2016, and is open to all Tenderers as defined in the Regulations.
6. Tender in one original plus two (2) copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain
envelopes marked Tender no. PA/017/2021-22/HQ/G/09 Supply of Supply of Classroom
Instructional and Institution Furniture (Supply and Fixing of Lecture Theater Chairs and
Tables, Staff Office Furniture and Fittings and Students Beds and Mattress, must be
delivered to the Secretary of Tender Board, Institute of Accountancy Arusha, Room No 10
& 11, located on the top floor of the Administration Block, Njiro Hill area, P.O. Box 2798
Arusha, from 08.00 to 16.00 hours local time on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except
on public holidays.
7. All tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the
Tendering Documents
8. The site visit will be held at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha Njiro Main Campus at 11.00am
on 12nd August 2021
9. Deadline for submission will be on 20/08/2021, 16.00AM hours local time. Quotations will
be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of tenderers representatives
who choose to attend in the opening ceremony at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha
Main Cafeteria, Njiro Hill.
