Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to shaping the digital road map of the bank in collaboration with a wider team in Digital transformation.
- As a design researcher collect and connect qualitative user insights, quantitative market analytics, and product-to-platform heuristics to prioritize the most delightful, viable, and feasible concepts.
- Design and coordinate market research by ensuring clear data collection, interpretation of data, formulate reports, and make recommendations.
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation.
- Quickly understand, analyze and respond to stakeholder briefs & requests on new products & solutions developments.
- As a design leader advocate the Human-Centered Design practice to stakeholders through cross-disciplinary ideation workshops and center of excellence.
- Lead strategy and designs of the bank's new products, platforms & solutions and ensure that they are implemented within the highest standard. Ensuring all products/services are delivered to the highest quality standards meeting both internal and external quality standards.
- Lead the ideation process of idea collection and oversee governance of idea transformation.
- Conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
- Ensure there is a clear customer journey mapping on all products/ solutions/ platform that the bank is developing.
- Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
- Showcase end-to-end visions of the designs and implement roadmaps for growing product/service/platform ecosystems.
- Work closely with Product developments, System developers, Enterprise Architecture labs & Project management team to ensure that design specifications are implemented accordingly to the user designs.
- Build relationships with external partners like Fin techs development arrangements, delivery, and ongoing support and maintenance when appropriate.
- Manage multiple projects and ideas within the lab and ensure there is clear communication status updates to leaders and stakeholders on the progress of development.
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties' research and implement best practices.
- Maintain the credibility and reputation of the bank's innovation unit through effective relationships, including customer visits and networking to identify potential opportunities to improve our product/service/platform offering and/or identify new product/services
- Ensure the development of a high-performing team in Innovation Lab Unit.

Senior Manager; Security Operations & Red Team (1 Position(s))
Job Location : Head Office, Hq
Job Purpose:
To plan, organize, and effectively lead cybersecurity operations to detect and respond to any internal and external cybersecurity threats while conducting regular and targeted security tests on NMB systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review and implement security testing, monitoring, and incidents response strategy and roadmap for the bank.
- Plan, oversee, and implement all security testing engagements on all systems within the bank.
- Establish and review the security testing governance framework and processes used in all security tests carried out within the bank.
- Manage all third-party security test engagements conducted at the bank.
- Drive cybersecurity monitoring and incident response initiatives within the bank to improve security monitoring capabilities.
- Establish real-time proactive monitoring and detection of security incidents and provide relevant notifications.
- Implement automated response to cybersecurity incidents by integrating various security tools as well as building necessary security tools.
- Oversee investigation of reported security breaches in collaboration with the bank's fraud management unit.
- Oversee and execute emergency security tests including proof of concept on all discovered vulnerabilities.
- Provide “ownership” of security incidents and problems to the final resolution for all the servers, workstations, Virtual environments, Databases, Middleware, and Applications.
- Provide “ownership” and follow-up to the closure of all the findings and gaps identified following security tests.
- Implement security governance by defining, developing, implementing, and maintaining required security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct research, evaluate, and make recommendations on security monitoring, incident response, services, protocols, standards, and associated best practices.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate reports for both technical and executive audiences.
- Prepare and maintain security monitoring documentation including architectures, designs, and governance documents.
- Work with system vendors as well as internal teams in verifying the security of the applications/systems implemented within the bank.
- Research, create, and maintain a repository of the security testing tactics, techniques, and tools to be used by the bank.
- Responsible for team & vendor management for the Security Operations Center.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of security monitoring and testing technology landscape.
- In-depth knowledge of security of various operating system flavors such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Knowledge of security of applications, databases, and middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of common information security monitoring and testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related academic field.
- Preferred professional certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, GIAC GPEN, CEH, CISM, or any other relevant security certifications.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Cybersecurity.
- Solid hands-on experience in enterprise security tools including security monitoring technologies.
- Solid hands-on experience in managing Penetration Testing engagements.
- Experience in developing custom exploit code, scripts, and tools to be used for various stages of Penetration testing engagement.

Senior Security Specialist; Penetration Tester (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To plan and implement security tests on NMB systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth planned and ad-hoc penetration testing engagements within the bank.
- Work closely with cross-functional delivery teams, present security test findings, agree upon remediation response plans, and follow-up implementation of the plans.
- Carry out proof of concept on known risks and discovered vulnerabilities against the bank's environment.
- Prepare high-quality reporting for all tests performed that clearly articulate identified weaknesses.
- Research and develop customized tools and automation scripts to improve the identification of vulnerabilities.
- Provide security recommendations in the development and acquisition of the bank's systems.
- Support all third-party security test engagements including regulatory tests conducted at the bank.
- Research, create, and maintain a repository of the security testing tactics, techniques, and tools to be used by the bank.
- Work with system vendors as well as internal teams in verifying the security of the applications/systems implemented within the bank.
- Conduct adversary simulation of malicious tactics
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of the security testing landscape.
- In-depth knowledge of security of various operating system flavors such as Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Understanding of the security mechanisms associated with Applications, Operating Systems, Networks, Databases, and Cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of common information security testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Understanding of network security architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of threat/attack modeling and design review.
- Strong pen-testing skills and experience in applications and infrastructure domains at a minimum.
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Demonstrable honesty, integrity, and credibility; ability to engender the trust and confidence of internal constituency and external partners.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts in an easy-to-understand business language.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
